I'm participating in Luanti Game Jam 2025
I have published three programs this month:
Web Sharing ("Share a folder to the web")
Random Color ("Get a random color")
Thinking With Arrows ("A puzzle game with a bow and arrow")
The first two apps are Gtk/Adwaita apps, and the last is a game for Luanti.
I have also finally rewritten Score Keeper ("A score tracking application") in Lua.
November was quite a lot better for me. I'm happier now, and I'm programming more/better.
I still haven't upgraded my laptop to Fedora 43, but I've updated my desktop, primary because Niri v25.11 came out and somehow hit Alpine Edge very quickly (compared to other releases).
I'm doing Advent of Code this year. I did it last year too. I might publish my solutions (they're in Lua, of course), but I'm not sure. The fact that it's only 12 days instead of 25 is disappointing, but at least the removal of the global leaderboard now makes it much easier for me to focus on writing good, clean code instead of rushing to finish.
Since the Luanti Game Jam is finished, I'll probably end up working on my other programs during December. I've already played through and gave mostly final ratings for all the entries, so at this point I'm waiting until the rating period is over before updating the game.
I'm not sure if I want to continue posting daily. I'll still try to post at least a few times, though.
